  • RNC Canvassing Lists:

This is interesting. Remember my story about comparing the GOP data center data to Nevada State and Douglas County data and how their data was completely out of whack? Jay Valentine, of Fractal voter list fame, is now stating the same thing. Woe is us if we believe in the GOP data center for electioneering.

"Looking at the past margins in the races alone isn’t the right way to judge. For one thing, it doesn’t consider the turnout differential between off-year and presidential elections.

  • Waste, Fraud & Abuse Not the Biggest Problems; These Are

People often ask public officials about government waste, fraud and abuse – salient problems for sure. They’re often big problems, albeit difficult to ferret out, prove and remedy. The bigger and nearly universal problems resemble them, but are more subtle and difficult to show and remedy.

  • Supreme Court Got It Just Right on Race Preferences

The United States Supreme Court ruled June 29 that colleges and universities must stop using race-based affirmative action (AA) in higher education admissions. The 228-page opinion, written by Chief Justice John Roberts in two related cases that began nine years ago, finally brought some Constitutional sense to the matter after decades of intellectual fumbling and dissembling by previous courts.

    Democrats vs. Parents

    By THE EDITORS

Editor's Note: (Parents should raise their children, not the government)

Last week, Republicans in Congress passed the Parents Bill of Rights, 213–208. Critics will dismiss it as a messaging bill, but the message it sends about Democrats’ priorities is unsettling in the extreme.

  • DO NEVADA REPUBLICANS REALLY WANT TO WIN?

By Michael Kadenacy, Chairman of the Board, Nevada Wins PAC

    January 12, 2023

Unfortunately, some of what caused the Non-Red Wave were Republican self-imposed headwinds.

There seems to be a malaise infecting more than a few Republicans nationally and in Nevada.  Quoting from the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, January 3, 2023: "More than a few Republicans, alas, have a history of preferring combative sound bites to actual governing…."

  • Red State: Nevada Is the Perfect Political Storm and This Is Not a Drill

By Brittany Sheehan | 8:30 PM on October 12, 2022

As the nation has eyes on Nevada’s key Senate race, between incumbent Catherine Cortez Masto (D) and Republican nominee Adam Laxalt there are some nuances at play with longer implications for the Republican brand. Nevada is not just a battleground, it is a testing ground. Its demographics and dynamics are the reason Nevada is propelled to compete for first in the nation voting, while its electoral contribution is slim and its congressional influence is a mere four house members, next to our neighboring California’s 52

    2022 ELECTION

By Nate Silver OCT. 7, 2022, AT 1:13 PM

On the surface, Nevada seems to validate the otherwise somewhat unsuccessful hypothesis of the 2002 book “The Emerging Democratic Majority.” Authors John Judis and Ruy Teixeira predicted that Nevada would become a light-blue state as Democrats held onto their unionized, working-class base and demographic change brought new Democratic voters into the fold.

  • Sixty-four Days to Create A Conservative Coalition

    Can We Do It?

Sixty-four days! That’s all the time that conservatives have left of this election cycle. Right now, we have the electoral advantage of a deeply unpopular president, rampant inflation, and soaring crime. Considering this, conservatives in Nevada should win decisively in November, right?

  • Why We Focus on Legislative Races

Why does the Nevada Wins PAC focus on only a few state legislative races? Because the legislature is where the action is, the place that counts on almost every issue in our state. The Legislature has a controlling voice on every important issue to voters. And which party controls the Legislature determines the outcomes of issues.
